#TWBvol15 ; the art of walking away quietly.

you ever get that feeling? like suddenly, you're in a room full of people you know—but you feel weirdly out of place. like you’re talking, smiling, existing... but it’s like your presence doesn’t really matter. no one’s really seeing you. and that tiny voice in your head whispers, “am i even supposed to be here?”

that’s where this quote hits different: “but we can walk away the moment we feel unwanted, right?”

and yeah, maybe we can. maybe we should.

because why stay where you gotta question your worth every five seconds? why keep showing up for people who wouldn't even notice if you stopped?

walking away doesn’t always have to be loud or dramatic. sometimes it’s just... silence. letting go. choosing not to beg for space in someone else’s world. choosing you.

it’s not about being petty or heartless—it’s about self-respect. about knowing when your energy’s being drained, not returned. you can love people and still leave. you can care and still choose distance. it’s not cruel—it’s healing.

it’s not easy, though. we’re all wired to hold on. to keep proving we’re worth it. to keep hoping they’ll treat us better if we just wait it out. but here’s the thing: you’re not too much. you’re not dramatic. you’re not asking for too much just because you wanna feel seen and valued.

so yeah, you can walk away. you’re allowed to.

you don’t owe anyone a permanent spot in your life if they keep making you feel like a temporary option.

walk away when the vibes feel off. walk away when your soul starts whispering, “this ain’t it.” walk away when your presence feels like an inconvenience.

you don’t need to fight to stay where love doesn’t feel like love anymore.

'cause at the end of the day, choosing peace over people who don’t choose you? that’s not weakness. that’s power.
